If for only a second you can lend me you ear or read the tales from my 4 page letter that I am about to write, all of my lies would be both said and written.. “JUST….FOR…..YOU!”

You see, I have all intentions on playing the bench through your relationship. Do not mind me as I sit, watch and wait for him to do you wrong; all so I can jump at the very opportunity to fill the void and offer to you all the attention lacking in your relationship but first, “LET ME LIE TO YOU”

Can I tell you everyday that I am so much different from he, in hopes that you would believe me? No matter; the more mistakes made on his behalf, the more my lies hold truth in your eyes and so I shall wait…….Those cold nights that you spend alone because THIS man refuses to be by your side; please take note that I can and WILL fill this position at the first opportune time given to me and for the first few months, I will make your life unimaginable.

Those friends that you keep close will warn you of men similar to my character, we prey on those who seem weak. Those friends of yours will slander my decent name and sling all of my good intentions through every pit of despair possible and within those first few months, I will set out to prove all of them wrong; though I need not prove anything to anyone but you. Sounds good, does it not?

I bow before you as I take your hand and pledge to you a life of bliss! Your dreams brought to reality and your worries sent off for a vacation from which they will never return. I can; if you so willingly allow, Calgon your moments and take you away to unchartered islands where we are one for a time; made to seem like an eternity. Yes, now THEY envy you……

But before I do ANY of this let me just find a way to make room for you in my life. Between the wife at home and the kids I fail to raise as their father, give me time. I am currently juggling 4 more relationships and by adding you into this picture, this is just one more set of lies that I need to keep up and right now, I am not sure if I feel like dealing with that prospect. So keep that problem of a man you currently have in your life and do not add me to your burden, for what I carry I wear proud across my chest; though if you would STILL like to buy into this façade, like Disney feel free to “Be Our Guest” for I am not alone.
