“Who pays on the date?”

 

Most men will say that they will gladly pay on the date for it is the right thing to do.

Interestingly enough, more and more women are coming to the forefront of this discussion and saying, “He can pay for the first date and that she will pay for the second” for sharing the tab is common courtesy.

The third answer is often, “The person who invites the other, should pay”

Regardless the thought, it would seem that there is no wrong answer to this question but do not be mislead; there exist many who will abuse not paying at all.

Before we go any further, do keep in mind the thoughts and opinions on this blog are that of my own and as with any blog, these thoughts are not set to change your view on how you live and or choose to work your own relationships.

Let us discuss the people who choose to never come out-of-pocket to pick up the tab. They spend each dining experience looking at the tab until you pick it up. Is he or she wrong for NEVER paying? Perhaps the question should be, how long are you willing to allow it without saying anything? People will only do what is allowed and if the issue is never talked about, this would only say that you are comfortable with the situation of always paying.

So again I ask, “Who pays on the Date?”

Every situation is different; work this one out however you feel comfortable.
